News:

Feb 9, 2009: the first data collection is on line. There are currently over 2 million records in the database, mostly from Canada and Australia. We have configured a searcher based on apache-solr to help find records, search forms are at the top right of each page.

Work continues on the OBID-Spider, it is being adjusted to require less manual intervention. We should be in a position to run the next scans in a few weeks.
Feb 10, 2009: We have a page of Typical searches that we are using for testing, and as demonstration of the system.

Canada by Province browseable lists are available.
Feb 23, 2009: We have started geocoding the locations in our database. These fields will be usable by projects that are interested in creating proximity searches, or developing for hand held devices.
